Environmental Justice Candidate Forum
Cleveland has some of the highest lead poisoning rates for children in the country. Northeast Ohio is home to four of the nation's top 100 super-polluters. A history of environmental racism and economic inequality has long plagued the region. At the same time, there are opportunities to be gained or lost as our nation transitions away from fossil fuels to renewable energy. These are all issues that can be addressed by members of Congress. Learn what those running for Ohio's 11th Congressional District have to say in this environmental justice candidate forum brought to you by the Environmental Justice Ministries of the United Church of Christ, the Sierra Club, the Northeast Ohio Black Health Coalition, CLASH (Cleveland Lead Advocates for Safe Housing), the League of Women Voters of Greater Cleveland, and Black Environmental Leaders.

This is a nonpartisan event and will not endorse any political candidate.
